ALO Audio's SXC-8 headphone cable redesigned for IEMs.

Silver-plated high purity copper wire is at the heart of the eight fine-stranded 22 AWG conductors. Each conductor is custom annealed to an extra soft temper.

The SXC 8 IEM cable comes jacketed in durable FEP for exceptional resistance to discoloration. The FEP jacket produces a cable with a supple feel, unlike other silver plated or even pure silver cables.

Each cable features our reference type 8 wire weave – a stereo symmetrical design with opposing currents. This weave design lends itself to a more open sonic signature and delivers the perfect blend of detail and clarity.

Was worried an 8-conductor cable would feel stiff, but the 22 AWG strands are surprisingly flexible and sit nicely behind my ears. The silver-plated copper really cleans up the treble without making things harsh.

Swapped this onto my IEMs and the first thing I noticed was how much tighter the bass got. The eight silver-plated copper conductors are thin enough that the cable doesn't tug on my ears anymore. Worth every penny.

The eight conductors are noticeably stiffer than the stock cable, but that's the tradeoff for how much cleaner the low end sounds. Bass lines have actual texture now instead of just thump.
