Reference 8 Cable

The FEP jackets are surprisingly flexible for such a thick cable, and the mix of silver-plated and OCC copper adds a warmth that makes vocals feel more present. Hooked it up to my IEMs and the whole soundstage just opened up.

The eight conductors make a noticeable difference — the bass feels fuller and the treble smoothed out compared to the stock cable. It's a bit stiff out of the box but loosens up after a week, and the FEP jacket keeps it from tangling in my pocket.

Swapped this onto my daily IEMs and the first thing I noticed was how much tighter the bass got. The four OCC copper conductors seem to add real weight down low, while the silver-plated ones keep the highs clean. Zero microphonics too, which is a nice bonus.
